JCI Manchester

JCI is a global organisation devoted to providing development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. From helping make new connections, putting on training events and celebrating excellence, it has been going for over 100 years and is active in over 100 countries. JCI Manchester is a UK chapter of JCI.

For 75 years JCI Manchester has brought together people to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. From helping make new connections, putting on training events and celebrating excellence as part of the annual Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTA’s).

Our events are open to members (including corporate partners) and non-members, with members themselves able to get involved in the activities of JCI Manchester and those of JCI UK & global JCI community.

Why Join JCI?

Through our workshops, community projects and organisational boards, members are able to gain practical experience not always available in their work environments.  They can develop new skills outside their usual day-to-day experience, take on leadership positions years ahead of when they might be offered in the workplace and learn from people with different personalities, perspectives and experiences.  Our events offer a open and supportive environment, where members are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, experiment and learn by doing. We welcome young professionals from all sectors and help to develop skills and knowledge through various events and activities.
